D.C. turned a good effort from starter Tetsuzan Kaneko into a win over the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The final score was 4-1. Kaneko went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 6-5. After today's action, D.C. sits at 33-24, while Vancouver falls to 32-25.

With runs few and far between, the Divided had to seize their opportunities when they came. One of the most important chances for D.C. came in the top of the third. That's when center fielder Charles Mathes delivered a 2-run home run. The home run was hit off Bill Fletcher and made the score 2-0, Divided.
