Houston BC starter Millard Taylor was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Gryfindor Braves, 9-8. Houston reliever Katsuyoshi Takuda picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Juan Cantú took the loss. With the win, Houston has a record of 34-35. Gryfindor falls to 47-22.

Alfredo Mojica had the critical at-bat for Houston. With one out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he grounded out, driving in 1 run. It gave Houston the 9-8 walk-off win.

"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Yoshifumi Kamuta.
