BC Take Down Fighting Dachsunds, 10-1
|
The Houston BC thumped the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 10-1, at Houston Park. Albert Delgado was a big reason his team got the win. Delgado went 2-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Ismael Padilla earned the win for Houston. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing no earned runs on 3 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 4-1. Houston, at 24-21, occupies 4th place in the Silver AAA.
Early in the game, Delgado had a 2-run triple for Houston. It was his 5th triple of the season and put the BC on top, 2-0.
"The BC definitely had our number," said Ellenburg manager Armando Saldańa.
