Braves Need Extra Frames to Get Past Drummers
The Gryfindor Braves outlasted the Tortolita Drummers in an extra-inning thriller.

Gryfindor beat Tortolita at Cayuse Ballpark, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Gabe Stephenson, who earned player of the game honors. The Gryfindor Braves, now 10-3, have been on fire in the early going.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth. That's when Gryfindor catcher Chris Murray, facing Pedro Figueroa, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Braves the 3-2 win.

"Put a star next to this win," Stephenson said.
