Crowds lined up early in front of Battle Ground Stadium, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2025 M3L Double A season. On the mound were Jim Unknown for the visiting Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks and José Lucero for the hometown Battle Ground Aeros. In a spirited contest, the Aeros pulled out the win, defeating the Thunder Hawks by the score of 5-4. Earning player of the game honors was Adrian Barr. José Lucero picked up the win with 8 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 10 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 1-0. Will O'Slattery earned the save for Battle Ground, his 1st.

Beau Murphy aided the Battle Ground cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
