There was no shortage of dramatics at Ballpark of Port Royal today.

The inspired effort of Hamilton left fielder Tony Ríos was not enough to prevent a 10-9 loss to the Port Royal Disaster. Ríos was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The 5th-place Disaster now have a 5-game winning streak.

Martín Méndez provided some late-game heroics for Port Royal. In the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a first pitch slider from Jim Unknown and propelled Port Royal to a 10-9 lead.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Méndez.
