Belugas Fall to May, Coyotes
|
The Hamilton Coyotes stopped the Brinkley Belugas, 12-3, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The Coyotes got a big game from Ralph May, who was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 3. Hamilton goes to 35-60, Brinkley to 48-47.
In the bottom of the third inning, center fielder Stan Pierce came through big-time for the Coyotes. With Hamilton leading 4-1, he belted a grand slam home run.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," May told the Hamilton Herald. "It's as simple as that."
