Brinkley beat Wilmington, 10-3. The win in part was due to right fielder Steve Jones, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The 4th-place Belugas have won 5 straight games.
