Longnecks Raise Rally Flag, Beat Hamilton, 3-0

Peterson never let Hamilton get something going. The Bloomington right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Longnecks to a win. Bloomington reliever Esteban Arroyo picked up the win to move to 1-3. Reynaldo Sánchez suffered the loss. The Longnecks bumped their record to 41-37 with this latest triumph.
Sergio Cortéz contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat that propelled Bloomington to the win.
"We came out with the short end of the stick," said Hamilton skipper Frank Phillips.
