Fans who came to Dodos Ballpark watched the Brinkley Belugas and the Hialeah Dodos fight to the finish.

Getting a good performance from left fielder Reggie Kahn, the Brinkley Belugas defeated the Hialeah Dodos, 11-4. Kahn went 3-5 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6 for the Belugas. Glen Holland got credit for the win, improving to 4-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.1 innings.

Kahn came through with some timely hitting for Brinkley. With the score 3-2 in the top of the second and two down, Kahn hit a full count fastball for a 2-run double. It was his 5th double of the season -- and a big reason the Belugas managed to win.

"It feels good to get that win," said Kahn. "Now it's on to the next one."

With the win over Hialeah, the Belugas improved to 24-25.
