Buzz Topple Bay Hawks with Late Rally
The Wilmington Bay Hawks were defeated, 6-5, by the Salt Lake City Buzz. Leading the charge for Salt Lake City was right fielder Ángel Aguilar. He was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Salt Lake City reliever Deron Kuhn picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Phil Hanson was saddled with the loss. The Buzz, with just their 3rd win in 10 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Wayne Saunders was the walk-off hero for Salt Lake City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Salt Lake City first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Salt Lake City Buzz manager Pedro Orozco. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
