The Ft. Worth Cattlemen and New Amsterdam Republics obliged those fans who came to The Cattle Pen hoping for an exciting game.

With second baseman Robby Day leading the charge, the Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the New Amsterdam Republics, 13-4, at The Cattle Pen. Day, who is tied for 5th in the SL in total bases with 176, went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 times. The Republics have now dropped 5 straight.

Bart Lewis contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat that propelled Ft. Worth to the win.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Day told the Ft. Worth Today.
