SAA's Best Starter is Nakamura Monday, July 1st, 2024 There's something about a young rookie winning the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Prince Nakamura, a 21-year-old starter for the Phoenix Hotspur Youth. In June, he topped off the month with a 5-0 mark and 2.56 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 31.2 innings, fanned 24 and held opposing teams to a .209 average. To date this year Nakamura has compiled a 6-4 mark with a 4.70 ERA in 10 starts. |
