Star of the Week Honored in SAA Monday, September 16th, 2024 This week USSL Double A pitching was a feast fit for a king and Jesús Mejía really made the most of it -- ripping them royally. The talented Phoenix Hotspur hitting machine produced a .467 batting average, 2 home runs, 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 2 runs. That kind of hitting earned him the SAA Player of the Week honors. For the season Mejía is batting .284 with 98 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 59 times and batted in 57. |
