Sonics Starter Named June's Premier Pitcher Monday, July 1st, 2024 Over the past month Roberto Calderón has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the M3L Double A. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Atlantic City Sonics posted 4-1 mark and a 1.49 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 48.1 innings, permitted 38 hits and fanned 33 batters. This season in 12 starts Roberto Calderón has a record of 6-3 with 62 strikeouts in 92.1 innings and a 1.95 ERA. |
