August's Pitcher of the Month Goes to Navarro Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Over the past month Ángel Navarro has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Triple A. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves posted 5-1 mark and a 3.10 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 40.2 innings, permitted 40 hits and fanned 35 batters. On his stats sheet this season Navarro shows a 12-4 record, 20 starts, 129.1 innings, 114 strikeouts and a 3.20 ERA. |
