USPL Triple A Winner is Yamashita Monday, July 1st, 2024 So far in his young career, Nobuo Yamashita has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Tortolita Drummers center fielder hit at a torrid .368 clip as he collected 7 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this season Yamashita has put up a .378 batting average with 31 hits, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. |
