Landry 5-for-5 for Athletic Club KC Monday, June 17th, 2024 Michael Landry exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Psychos Ballpark. The Athletic Club KC right fielder had a field day in the 10-1 triumph over the Florida Men, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Landry must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. Michael Landry singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. Landry is batting at a .248 pace this season, picking up 37 hits in 149 at-bats with no home runs, 10 RBIs and 16 runs scored. |
