Today at Ogres Ballpark the Athletic Club KC third baseman really burned Bangor Trident Base pitching, going 5-for-6 in the Reserves 9-5 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Glenn Woods singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th. Currently Woods is hitting .269 and has collected 1 home run, 10 RBIs and scored 15 times, while playing in 40 games. |
