Grimes Receives Injury Update Friday, May 31st, 2024 Steve Grimes will have to wait a while longer. The Wilmington left fielder was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 9 months with a broken kneecap. The injury has kept him off the field since 05/28/2024. Though Grimes had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This season Grimes is batting .263 with no home runs. He has scored 17 runs and driven in 10. |
