Injured Richards Out 14 Months Sunday, May 12th, 2024 Melvin Richards will have to wait a while longer. The Houston reliever was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 14 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 05/11/2024. Though Richards had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." Richards has no saves this season with a won-lost record of 0-0 and 1.29 ERA. |
