Roger Lakes Captures 3AAA Award Monday, August 12th, 2024 Salt Lake City fans have something to crow about today as Salt Lake City center fielder Roger Lakes nabbed the M3L Triple A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Lakes. He posted a .579 average (11-for-19) this past week with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs, and 8 runs scored. Thus far in 2024 Lakes is hitting .325 with 7 home runs, 30 RBIs, 34 runs scored and has compiled a .428 OBP. |
