South Beach Sits Atop Premier A Friday, August 30th, 2024 While it remains to be seen what the playoffs will bring for the South Beach Blaze, the club has taken the first step of clinching the Premier A title. "It's exactly where we wanted to be and where we talked about being during spring training," said starting pitcher Valentín Rivera. "There's not a guy in the room that doesn't believe in this team. We're all pulling in the same direction right now." It was the team's 1st division title and they will attempt to capture the franchise's 1st USPL Single A championship. "The end goal hasn't changed - win the PL A Championship," said manager Justin Trewhells. "We think we've got the team to do it." |
