SA Pick for Top Pitcher in July is Ramos Thursday, August 1st, 2024 Over the past month Alejandro Ramos has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USSL Single A. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Connetquot Chiefs posted 5-0 mark and a 1.11 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 40.2 innings, permitted 27 hits and fanned 49 batters. To date this season, Ramos has registered 14 starts, 8-4 won-lost mark, 2.24 ERA, 108.1 IP, 129 strikeouts and 34 walks. Opposing teams have hit .198 against him. |
