Penn Gets 5 Hits Thursday, September 14th, 2023 It was a parade of hits for Danny Penn of the Belvedere Park Rawhides... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Casper Ghosts for 5 hits in his 5 at-bats and propelled the Rawhides to a 14-13 victory. "Penn was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Ghosts manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Danny Penn hit a two-run home run off Wallace Elgie in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and doubled in the 10th. This season Penn is batting .247 with 56 hits, 6 home runs, 26 RBIs, 24 walks, .323 OBP and has scored 27 runs. He has played in 61 games. |
