Thomason Tags Hot N Readys for 5 Hits Sunday, June 25th, 2023 Rob Thomason really did a number on the Hot N Readys -- but Little Caesars retaliated and did a number on the Herons -- they beat them 12-10. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 7 at-bats. But Thomason did just that today for Glendale and gave his batting average a healthy boost, but did not deliver the victory. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 24-year-old center fielder said after his record-setting performance. "I just wish we had won the game, too." Rob Thomason singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th. For the year Thomason has hit .311 with 2 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 20 runs. |
