Skipper Hill Terminated by Polar Bears Monday, October 16th, 2023 Billings has fired manager John Hill. "We were not doing the things you've got to do every day," the Polar Bears general manager told reporters. "We saw that things were not going to change. We had huge expectations coming into the season and we did not live up to them." The current coaching staff will be assigned to run the ballclub in the interim until a new manager can be hired. Hill was told of his dismissal yesterday morning and was not available for comment. The Billings spokesman called it a "sensitive and emotional" meeting with Hill -- too sensitive to bring up whether Hill would be offered another job in the Polar Bears system. |
