Great Week for San Antonio's António Sánchez Monday, August 7th, 2023 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week António Sánchez of the San Antonio BC reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Sánchez rocked opposing pitching for a .615 average (8-for-13), 1 home run and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Sánchez has banged out 58 hits in 229 at-bats for a .253 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .346 pace and his totals also include 29 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
