SAAA Awards Player of the Week Monday, June 19th, 2023 So far in his young career, Francisco Torres has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Sunset District Fog shortstop hit at a torrid .474 clip as he collected 9 hits in 19 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored. In his season totals Torres has 1 home run and a .500 batting average. |
