Daugherty Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Monday, July 31st, 2023 Fog first baseman Randy Daugherty made big news today in the Sunset District 7-6 victory over Jersey City. He was 4-for-6 at the plate and hit for the cycle. Randy Daugherty tripled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Wing-tat Ke in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, walked in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit an RBI double in the 12th. For the season Daugherty has produced 17 hits in 44 at-bats for a .386 average with 3 home runs and gotten on base at a .491 clip. |
