Top Pitcher Trophy Won by Nobles Scott Sunday, October 8th, 2023 When Bakersfield reliever James Scott was called in from the bullpen during the season, it was lights out for the other team. He usually put a quick stop to any potential rallies. For his solid mound work he was presented the 2023 USPL Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award today. The Nobles relief star converted no saves this year with a 13-1 record and a 2.79 ERA. He appeared in 20 games and struck out 82 in 125.2 innings. Fernando González of the Bakersfield Nobles finished second in voting, while Raúl Pérez of the Bakersfield Nobles finished third. |
