Bill Dennis went 5 for 6 against the Royse City Targaryens at Royse City Stadium and the Reserves picked up a 18-13 victory. "What a day!" he said. "We win and I get 5 hits! Couldn't be better!" "He was patient up there today," the Athletic Club KC skipper told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly agressive. Dennis has a tendency to go after some bad balls sometimes."Bill Dennis doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, flied out in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Thus far this year Dennis has hit .347 with 10 home runs and 43 RBIs. |
