Grant Batters Sioux Falls for 5 Hits Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 The Humpbacks whipped the Red Pandas 14-11 at Sea World and Steven Grant had a big hand in the win. The Humpbacks catcher came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Grant and a tough day for Sioux Falls. "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Grant delivered today -- 5-for-5 is outstanding in any league. Steven Grant singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
