Update: Herrera Out 4 Months Friday, September 22nd, 2023 José Herrera could soon be placed on the disabled list. The Brooklyn catcher told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 4 months because of a torn back muscle. He hasn't played since 09/20/2023 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there." Presently Herrera is batting .223 with 50 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 20 runs and scored 20 times. |
