Gómez Learns More about Injury Monday, September 4th, 2023 Santiago Gómez will have to wait a while longer. The Gwinnett County reliever was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4 months with a bone spur in his elbow. The injury has kept him off the field since 09/03/2023. Though Gómez had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." For the year Gómez has collected 3 saves in 17 relief appearances. He has also notched 19 strikeouts and 10 walks in 25 innings while registering a 2.16 ERA and a 1-1 won-lost record. |
