Myrtle Beach Hurler Wins 3A Outstanding Pitcher Award Friday, September 22nd, 2023 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2023 has been presented and the M3L Single A winner is José Rico of Myrtle Beach. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Rico. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Seahawks star told reporters. Rico excelled with an impressive 7-7 record in 22 starts. In 154.2 innings he yielded 103 hits and 43 walks, while striking out 217 and compiling a fine 1.69 ERA. César Rosado of the Washington Generals finished second in voting, while Archibald Bridgestone of the Provo Mango finished third. |
