Castrejón Wins 3A Top Pitcher Award Friday, September 1st, 2023 In August, Luis Castrejón tore through the M3L Single A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Washington starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.03 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 26.1 innings he collected 45 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .185 average. This season Castrejón has worked 137.2 innings with 176 strikeouts en route to a 11-3 record and a 2.03 ERA. |
