Outstanding Pitcher Award Announced, Winner is Cole Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2022 has been presented and the USPL Double A winner is David Cole of Durham. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Cole. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Rapiers star told reporters. Cole excelled with an impressive 12-10 record in 28 starts. In 180.2 innings he yielded 129 hits and 79 walks, while striking out 190 and compiling a fine 2.89 ERA. Jason Hamilton of the Athletic Club KC Academy finished second in voting, while Fernando Reyna of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished third. |
