Mercer Island Captures Premier AA Crown Wednesday, September 14th, 2022 The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles kicked off what they hope is the first of many celebrations tonight, after having clinched the Premier AA. Championship success is uncharted waters for the Screaming Eagles, as the club has yet to win a PL AA Championship. "We know what it takes, we just have to put ourselves in that position to win it," said left fielder Jason Ruffin. The club's record currently sits at 65-33 and the division win is the 2nd in team history. Team owner The owner of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles said it was "an extremely proud day to be at the head of the Screaming Eagles." |
