Blue Sox Hunter Named SAA's #1 Player Monday, June 27th, 2022 At the age of 27, Will Hunter might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Irving third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .462 batting average. For his efforts Hunter collected the USSL Double A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 6 hits in 13 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 5 games. On the season, Hunter is batting .368 with 8 home runs and 25 RBIs. He has played in 36 games. |
