SAA Player of the Week, Alomar of Asheville Monday, June 6th, 2022 Luis Alomar is respected by most Asheville Highlanders fans for his no-frills style of play. The 20-year-old shortstop went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Double A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .526 average (10-for-19) with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. So far this year Alomar has hit .452 with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 3 runs scored. |
