This promising rookie catcher for Little Caesars garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 20-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .538 (7-for-13) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs last week. Presently Cortéz is hitting .315 with 10 home runs and 34 RBIs. He has played in 73 games and scored 48 times. |
