When a player gets 5 or more hits in a game, he is honored in the record book and the latest honoree is Cal Robinson of the San Bernardino Grasshoppers. He tore up the Chesapeake Continentals to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the San Bernardino 9-4 win today at Chesapeake Grounds. "Robinson was a tough out today," the Chesapeake manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Cal Robinson singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
