SAAA's #1 Player, Hunt of Pure Michigan Monday, May 23rd, 2022 27-year-old David Hunt made a few Pure Michigan headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .444 average. Hunt collected 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This year Hunt is hitting .444, produced 11 RBIs and 3 home runs, scored 3 times and gotten on base at a .448 rate. |
