5-Hit Blitz by Muñóz Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 It was a parade of hits for Sergio Muñóz of the Milton Dogfish Head... one right after another... a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Brinkley Belugas for 5 hits in his 7 at-bats and propelled the Dogfish Head to a 7-5 victory. "Muñóz was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Belugas manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Sergio Muñóz flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, flied out in the 9th, singled in the 11th and doubled in the 12th. For the season, Muñóz is hitting at a .298 clip with 2 home runs, 38 RBIs and has scored 44 runs. He has 94 hits, 22 walks and a .348 on-base percentage. |
