SAAA's Top Player, Vázquez of Augusta Monday, August 29th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Triple A, but last week Gustavo Vázquez of the Augusta Timber Hawks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Vázquez rocked opposing pitching for a .647 average (11-for-17), no home runs and 1 RBIs to come away with the award. On the year Vázquez is hitting .290 with 62 hits, 2 home runs, 36 RBIs, .402 OBP and has scored 46 runs. |
