Mora Tosses No-Hitter Against Chicago Saturday, August 6th, 2022 Northern Virginia is abuzz in the wake of a masterful no-hitter by Javier Mora against the Chicago Hawks. In a dominating 5-0 performance at Ballpark of Northern Virginia, the 23-year-old hurler had 14 strikeouts and 3 walks. Not one batter managed a hit. The Chicago manager said after the game, "You could tell early on it was going to be a long day for us. He made us look real bad. He was that good. And still going strong at the end of the game." "Yeah, this was a special day for me," said Mora. "I had my good stuff and good movement... good location, too. Even when I was off and made a mistake, I got away with it today."
