Kwon 5-for-5 for Idaho Falls Monday, August 1st, 2022 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Jung-hwan Kwon of the Idaho Falls Chukars had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 6-2 win over the Phoenix Hotspur U-21 at Idaho Falls Park. The 20-year-old third baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Jung-hwan Kwon singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this year Kwon has hit .273 with 1 home run and 40 RBIs. |
