July's #1 Starter Named in 3A Monday, August 1st, 2022 Over the past month Xavier Benítez has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the M3L Single A. He proved all that and now he's been named July's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Washington Generals posted 5-0 mark and a 1.19 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 37.2 innings, permitted 22 hits and fanned 37 batters. This season Benítez has compiled a 6-5 record with a 2.56 ERA in 13 starts. |
