Best 5-for-5 for Louisville Thursday, September 1st, 2022 Players get multihit games all the time. But a 5-hit game comes around only once in a blue moon. It happened at Louisville Park when Keith Best of Louisville scattered 5 hits all over the ballpark against the Boston Patriots. He walloped 5 hits in 5 at-bats in his career-day performance to help the BC get by the Patriots 4-3. In a talkative and jovial mood after the game, the left fielder of the BC said, "Whoa, my swing was really, really there today. I made some good, sweet-spot contact and when that happens... good things happen... like 5-for-5. I could get used to a lot of days like this one." Keith Best singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th. This season Best is batting at a .261 clip with 6 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
